Escape to our Esopus Sanctuary, just 90 mins north of NYC. Walking distance from the quaint town of Phoenicia. Our cabin in the Catskills is nestled right on the shores of the Esopus Creek. Hiking, skiing, shopping and spa treatments are close by. Watch the snow fall on the creek from the cabin while staying toasty by the Woodstove. Relax with a book in the hammock or gather around the Fire-pit at night (both are creekside!) This cabin promises a peaceful retreat in nature!

This is a standalone corner property along the Esopus Creek on Woodland Valley Road with multiple river and mountain views. The property is private but there are seasonal anglers and swimmers that share the Esopus Creek in the summer months. There is very light car traffic on Woodland Valley Road with a maybe an occasional walker, cyclist or jogger. The property is located on quiet and safe historic area. The general area is comprised of full-time residents, weekend residents, second homeowners, seasonal guests and short-term vacation rental guests. We are located less than a mile from Main Street Phoenicia.

5/5. A adorable little cabin located on a stunning confluence of the Espous River. Close to town, 20 minutes from Woodstock and a lot of privacy. Beds were very comfortable! Will return. Great sauna and hot tub. Very nice hosts!

do not bring young kids on the grounds it's very dangerous for them because of the cliff. other than that my husband and I are planning to come in the spring. we loved everything about the space. amenities are plenty and the home is huge for a tiny air bnb.

My wife and I got a rare weekend away and Amanda’s place was the perfect retreat. The house, the creek, the proximity to restaurants and stores as well as places like Woodstock all made for a perfect trip! Would definitely recommend and want to return.

I wish we stayed longer! The home is right above a beautifully flowing stream. The bed was so comfortable. So many little nooks to relax in. The host was so easy to contact. Her house was better than the listing! I’m going back.

If you’re looking for peaceful relaxation in a beautiful space along the water, this is the place you’re looking for. There is no cell service in the area but the wifi worked well inside and around the property. Amanda is a responsive host and provided details about the cabin and recommendations for things to do and place to eat around the area before our trip and printed out in the cabin for us. The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave! If you are planning to stay in the area, give this place a chance

One of the nicest stays I’ve ever had through Airbnb! House was incredible, hot tub, sauna, and hammocks were relaxing. It was a perfect location for an upstate getaway. And Amanda was a great host and extremely helpful. We are hoping to come back in the future!

There are no Uber/ Lyft services in the area so you will need a car. Guests will have access to dedicated parking. You can take an Trailways or local bus to Kingston and a local bus to Woodstock and Kingston. Renting a car is recommended. Or you can take the Amtrak train to Rhinecliff and rent a car from there.
