Other Details to Note
Given that we are conveniently located just steps away from the Village of Saugerties, please be aware that our home is on a somewhat busy road. During the daytime hours (9-5ish) a little traffic noise can be heard, especially if the windows are open. The other 3 sides of the house face a mature tree line that offers plenty of privacy.

Absolutely breathtaking, stunning and cozy. I left NY almost 20 years ago and this air b&b makes me want to move back. Amanda and John are extremely responsive and allowed me to check in much earlier due to us having to attend a funeral the same day at check jn. they're great hosts and are extremely attentive. Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved it! Perfect location to the NY Sheep and Wool and a Woolen Affair @ Kingston Brickyards. Saugerties village is very quaint with lots of reasonable dining options. Amanda was a great host.

Amanda was a wonderful host! The house is a sweet, older home with a lot of character. Everything worked well — heating, A/C, and plenty of hot water. The location is convenient and walkable to the main strip (about 15 minutes), though it’s easier and safer to drive.
The only thing to note is that there’s just one small bathroom for four bedrooms, which can be a bit tight for a group of five. That said, we made it work just fine. The house also sits off a main road, so light sleepers may want to keep that in mind.
Downtown Saugerties is charming! Miss Lucy’s Kitchen and Main Street Restaurant were both excellent. We also tried BLACKBARN at the nearby hotel — the food was fine but overpriced; however, the cocktails were great, and it’s very close to the house, so you can easily walk there. Kingston is definitely worth a short drive too — lots of great shops, antiques, and restaurants.
All in all, this house was a great stay for the price and the space. We’d happily come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amanda's place in Saugerties!! The house is charming, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. Each bedroom had it's own style and were cozy and quaint. The entire place exuded warmth and a welcoming and b relaxed feeling.
We enjoyed the location of home in Saugerties. We could walk downtown and we were a short drive to several hiking locations along the Hudson River, finding waterfalls in the Catskills, and exploring little towns on both sides of the Hudson. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!
